ESG. An integral part of the IMMAC Group
The ESG strategy is an integral part of our corporate organisation and anchored in the management processes of our company. As a guiding principle, it also exerts a direct influence on all core processes of the IMMAC Group on the company-specific process map.
The basic idea of our ESG strategy is the consistent orientation of the IMMAC Group in light of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) of the UN resolution. Since its introduction in 2015, it has served as a guideline for creating a sustainable world and enjoys the highest international recognition. Measures have been identified for each business unit that directly contribute to these goals.

For the employees of the IMMAC Group, the focus is on health, promotion and further training and flexible working. Positive, social interaction is a prerequisite for this.

Sustainability, real estate for several generations, living and well-being standards as well as technical innovations go hand in hand for us. We are guided by the applicable construction standards and supplement these with targeted measures for energy-efficient construction.

The acquisition takes into account the sustainability goals of the portfolio and fund product units. Thus, the inclusion of a property in the investment portfolio is already subject to very important criteria in the acquisition phase of the real estate cycle.

MANAGE REAL ESTATE WITH RESPONSIBILITY
HKA Hanseatische Kapitalverwaltung GmbH, a 100% IMMAC subsidiary, is responsible for the management of more than 150 properties.
The goals and measures in the portfolio focus on sustainable management, innovation and climate protection.
Special attention is paid to the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

INVESTMENTS WITH RESPONSIBILITY
Sustainable funds combine ecology with economy. They result from the close coordination between the construction units, portfolio and the legal regulations. Innovation, health, climate protection and energy play a central role here.
IMMAC has already planted 388 trees with IMMAC PLANT FOR BEDS for existing properties completed in 2021 and 2022. And the initiative has only just begun: Around 263 trees will be added this year and next according to current construction planning.
We are a member of ECORE
ECORE aims to establish a uniform standard of analysis in the real estate industry to make sustainability in real estate portfolios transparent, measurable and comparable. We actively support this through our participation in this initiative. In this way, we are pursuing our goal of further driving CO2 reduction in the company and ensuring ESG compliance.
As ESG-Representative, Cita Born is responsible for the holistic implementation of the ESG-Strategy in the company.
The reforestation campaign IMMAC PLANT FOR BEDS has been active since December 2021 and is an integral part of the company's internal ESG-Strategy. IMMAC has already planted 388 trees to date.
The aim is to further drive CO2 reduction in the company and ensure ESG-Compliance. We have therefore joined the ECORE initiative.
